The deadline to remember
The seller should plan the SNCA notification immediately after the sale. The 5 working day deadline starts after the transaction.

Plates, insurance and proof of completion
The official process requires the licence plates to be removed during deregistration and destroyed unless they will be used for another vehicle registered in your name. After deregistration, notify your insurer and keep the acknowledgement or confirmation.
