The essential documents

The registration certificate, an ID document, the service book and the report of the latest valid technical inspection are the foundation of any serious sale file.

The sale contract

A written contract protects both seller and buyer. It states the parties, the vehicle description, mileage, price and a 'sold as seen' clause.

Keep a copy signed by both parties after the transaction.

The SNCA steps

After the sale, the change of owner must be completed with the SNCA. Plan these formalities ahead so the buyer can drive and insure the vehicle without delay.
