Quality feedback after a garage contact

When a partner garage confirms that it contacted a seller, SellMyCar.lu may send one short service-quality survey. The rating, selected reason, and optional comment are used internally to monitor partner responsiveness and improve the garage network. The quality of the contact is assessed separately from the amount of any offer.

Analytics and attribution

With analytics consent, SellMyCar.lu uses DataFast, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and PostHog to understand traffic sources, conversion steps, session behaviour, and revenue attribution. Analytics events should not include seller names, emails, phone numbers, or uploaded vehicle documents.

Saved drafts and unfinished payment

Once a seller provides contact details, SellMyCar.lu may save a recoverable draft of the vehicle and seller information. This helps resume the request, resolve payment issues, and follow up about the valuation the seller started. Drafts remain pending and should not be shared with garage partners until the submission needs package handling or the seller continues the process.

Who may receive it

Seller data may be shared with authorised partner garages, dealers, payment providers, and service partners involved in the requested package.

Retention

Data should be retained only as long as necessary to manage the submission lifecycle, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and analyse business performance.
